STATION ADOPTION

SARPA administers the station adoption scheme on the Cambrian Main Line from Shrewsbury to Aberystwyth on behalf of Arriva Trains Wales. Stations which are open to adoption are Welshpool, Newtown, Caersws, Dovey Junction & Borth. Essentially this involves local volunteers monitoring the station concerned on behalf of Arriva Trains Wales. If you are interested in this scheme and would like to know more or get involved, please take a look at the
Arriva Trains Website or email them at customer.relations@arrivatrainswales.co.uk.

Alternatvely you can contact the SARPA representative:-

Gareth Marston, 64 Churchhill Drive, Barnfields, Newtown, Powys, SY16 2LH.
'phone 07828 027575

PLEASE LOOK AFTER THIS BOARD
In particular, the team at Welshpool are looking for someone to look after their noticeboard in the station car park. At present this just displays a condensed and easy to read version of the timetable, though the intention was that it should give local information and details of events in Mid Wales which could be reached by train. Any offers of assistance would be welcome.
